Arifhodžić Fuad

(Sarajevo, 1914 – Sarajevo, 2008)

He graduated from the First Gymnasium for Boys in Sarajevo in 1935. He studied at the Faculty of Law in Belgrade. During his studies, he painted and after graduation he devoted himself to painting and improved his work in that direction. He mostly worked with watercolors. Landscapes were predominant in his body of work. A member of the Association of Visual Artists of BiH (ULUBiH) since 1952. UNICEF published his watercolor Krovovi Sarajeva zimi (Sarajevo Rooftops in Winter) in print run of one million in 1985. He was awarded the Sixth of April Award of the city of Sarajevo in 2001.
