Bužan Joso
(Sisak, 1878 – Zagreb, 1936)
He attended the Painting Department of the Crafts School in Zagreb and in 1894 he continued his education by taking private lessons with prof. Streble in Vienna, where he lived for about three years. After study trips to Italy and Germany, he moved to Zagreb. In addition to painting, he also did photography. He mostly did oils, watercolors and drawings, and his prevailing themes were rural life and folklore motifs.
