Janjuš Sivč Helena

(1922 – 2016, Serbia)

She graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Belgrade in 1951 under Nedeljko Gvozdenović. For a while, she lived and worked in Banja Luka as well as in Sarajevo, where she was a member of the Association of Visual Artists of BiH (ULUBiH). She started to work as a trainee professor at the Mixed Teachers’ School in Banja Luka in 1951, where she taught drawing until 1954. After returning to Novi Sad, she became a member of the Association of Fine Artists of Vojvodina. She worked both in Ruski Krstur and in two gymnasiums in Novi Sad.
