
Šestić Ljudevit
(Đakovo, Croatia, 1900 – Zagreb, Croatia, 1962)
He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb in 1925, under Ljubo Babić and Vladimir Becić. His study visits to Paris in 1929 and 1932 influenced a cycle of Impressionist landscapes. He painted landscapes, vedute, marinas and portraits. During his stay in Mostar, his colors changed, becoming more intense.
