Subotić Branislav Sube

(Beograd, Serbia, 1926 – Beograd, Serbia, 2004)

He graduated from the Academy of Applied Arts in Belgrade in 1951, after which he came to Sarajevo and got a job at the High School of Applied Arts in the period 1951-56. He first exhibited in Sarajevo in 1952 and held his first solo exhibition at the Art Pavilion in 1957. He was the founder and Director of the School of Design in Belgrade, and in 1972, professor at the Textile Department of the Faculty of Applied Arts. Member of the Association of Visual Artists of BiH (ULUBiH) from 1952.
