Tumin Petrovna Nina

(Žitomir, Ukraine, 1911 – Kiev, Ukraine, 1972)

In 1935, she graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts under Marino Tartaglia. After completing schooling, she lived in Skopje, and after World War II also shortly in Zagreb. In addition to painting, she made book illustrations, stage and film set designs, and animations. She is the author of the cover of Ivo Andrić’s Prokleta avlija (The Damned Yard).
