Hugo Krayn
He was a member of Berlin Secession since 1915. He exhibited at the large exhibition in Wiesbaden in 1918. He died in 1919 from the Spanish fever. The themes of his paintings were industrialized Berlin, daily life of workers, and street scenes. Even during his stay in Davos, he was more impressed by parochial atmosphere of the village than by monumental nature of the mountainous landscape. Much of his work was destroyed during a Berlin bombing.
