Mirko Rački
He completed his Teachers’ School in Zagreb in 1898, after which he attended the private school Heinrichs Strehblows in Vienna from 1901 to 1903, followed by the Academy in Prague from 1903 to 05 under Vlaho Bukovac, and the Academy of Vienna in 1906 under William Unger. He stayed in Munich, Rome and Geneva, and in 1920 he moved to Zagreb. His mentor and patron was Isidor Kršnjavi, who commissioned drawings that were later bought for the Dante Museum in Florence. Rački worked with the Medulić Group (cycle Kraljević Marko, 1910). He had his retrospective exhibition in Zagreb in 1970.
