Antun Šojat
(Prčanj, Montenegro, 1911 – Zagreb, Croatia, 1974)
He graduated in 1939 from the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb (M. Tartaglia).
In his early period, he built his composition under the influence of P. Cézanne. At the end of the 1960s, he painted dramatic-expressive landscapes of Boka Kotorska, with characteristic enclosed drawing and thick heavy paste layers of dark blue tones.
