Vojislav Hadžidamjanović (Sarajevo, BiH, 1895 – 1980) studied at the Hungarian University of Fine Arts in Budapest (1912 – 1914) under the mentorship of Tivadar Zemplényi. He worked as a professor of drawing in schools in Sarajevo, Mostar and Trebinje. He was appointed as the director of the School of Applied Arts in Sarajevo in 1950.
There is an obvious tendency towards the landscape in the opus of Vojislav Hadžidamjanović. The colors dominate his paintings, which is visible in the “Chardak” (Blockhouse) characterized by a calm and pleasant color. “Chardak” is displayed at the exhibition “Four Seasons”.
