Slobodan Braco Dimitrijević

In 1971, graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb, the Department for Painting. From 1971 to 1973, he attended the post-graduate studies at St. Martin School of Art in London. His stays in London and Berlin have been of great importance for his artistic development. After them, he has gained international recognition and fame.  In 1979, he had the retrospection exhibitions of his opus in England, Holland and Germany. He won scores of international and national awards. He exhibited his works at the Venice Biennale (1976, 1982, 1990, and 1993), at Documenta in Kassel (1972, 1977, and 1982), at the Biennale of Sao Paulo (1996). He is a corresponding member of the Academy of Arts and Science’s of B&H. Now lives and works in Paris.
