Adolf  Liebscher

(Prague, 1857 – Pottenstein, Czech Republic, 1919)

Studied in Vienna in School for arts and crafts. He was known for murals. He decorated numerous public buildings in Czech cities. He painted historic and religious scenes, landscapes, altar paintings as well as a series of paintings of folk costumes. He taught at the Technical University of Prague until his death.
