Ivan Mrkvička (Jan Vaclav Mrkvička)

(Vidim, 1895 – Prague, Czech Republic, 1938)

Studied at the Art Academies in Prague and Munich. He lived in Bulgaria since 1881, where he collaborated with the most prominent representatives of cultural life. He was one of the founders of the National Academy of Arts in Sofia. He was a member of Bulgarian Academy of Sciences.
