Dževad Hozo

(Užice, Serbia, 1938 – Sarajevo, Bosna and Herzegovina, 2020)

Graduated in 1963 from the Academy of Fine Arts in Ljubljana, Department of Graphic Art, where he attended the post-graduate studies as well. He was one of the founders of the Department for Graphic Art of the Academy of Fine Arts in Sarajevo, where he worked as a professor.  In 1978, exhibited with the groups “Junij” and “69”. He dealt with theoretical work and wrote several books about the techniques and skills of graphic art, their characteristic terminology and history. He was a full member of the Academy of Arts and Sciences of B&H. His retrospective exhibition was held in 2001 in the City Gallery Collegium Artisticum.
