Dževad Hozo: Život-otisak

We are pleased to announce the opening of the exhibition of works by Dževad Hozo from the private collection of Hozo family and the collection of the National Gallery of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The exhibition will feature the prints from each series by this prominent Bosnian-Herzegovinian author.
Biography
Dževad Hozo
(Užice, Serbia, 1938 – Sarajevo, Bosna and Herzegovina, 2020)
Graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Ljubljana in 1963. Specialised in printmaking, mentored by professor Riko Debenjak. Engaged at the Sarajevo Academy since its founding, from assistant to full professor. Upon retiring, appointed professor emeritus. Long-serving head of the Printmaking Chair. Admitted to the BiH Academy of Arts and Academy of Sciences and Arts in 1981. More than forty individual exhibitions and numerous group ones, national and international. Winner of numerous prizes and awards for his printmaking, at prestigious exhibitions in the country and abroad. In addition to
numerous series and collections, he published the following:
