Katharina Neubert will visit the National Gallery of Bosnia and Herzegovina on August 16, 2023 and during the period 12-4 p.m. she will reproduce the artworks from the Gallery’s collection in 3D form using playdough.
“Kneading is like three-dimensional drawing, perfect for handy sketches. People like to take this banal, absurd material into their hands. With playdough I translate works of art into quickly formed clay figures and also include my environment performatively – material, space and time merge. I include the visitors and playfully open their perception, swap roles. The museum becomes a workshop, the visitors become artists, the muses transform, together we become a work of art for a short time.” Katharina Neubert
