Enes Sivac with exhibition A Question of Balance presents works from different series exploring questions of balance and form. By welding the steel wire together, Sivac builds the form of his sculptures as a metal shell filled with emptiness that makes up its volume. Sometimes by subtracting the volume of sculpture, the artist gives priority to the line that becomes the basic bearer of the form. “The reduction of plastic modeling to the graphic form (plastic drawing) is perceived as the influence of the drawing opus of his professor Alija Kučukalić,” wrote Aida Šarac, art historian, on the occasion of this exhibition.
