MUSIĆ Sead

(Brčko, Bosnia and Herzegovina, 1943)

He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Belgrade in 1969 and finished his post-graduate studies in 1972.

For Musić, figuration is the source of experiment: human figures in the mountain areas, rams in the mountains, goats, cows … Although he primarily concentrates on painting, a large number of drawings can be found among his work, rarely exempt of form. The common feature of Musićs paintings and drawings is the exploration of the possibilities of materials, in order to come up with the most authentic and intimate expression.He worked as a professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Sarajevo and he was the president of the Association of Visual Artists of Bosnia and Herzegovina (ULUBiH).
