Cucchi Enzo

(Morro d’Alba, Italy, 1950)

He studied art restoration, yet his while life he has been painting, sculpting and drawing. He participated in the Documenta in Kassel (1982 and 1987). Alongside Clemente, Chia and Paladino, he represents the most significant representatives of Italian trans-avantgarde. A great number of his sculptures are exhibited in public spaces. His retrospective exhibition was organised in 1986 at the Georges Pompidou Centre in Paris. He created numerous set and costume designs for theatre and opera.
