Arpad Kubaš
(Bezstercebanya, Hungary, 1884 – Zofingen, Switzerland, 1965)
After finishing a high school in Vienna, he moved to Munich where he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts, from where he went to further studies in Rome and then to Paris at the Académie des Beaux-Arts. From 1931 to 1947, he lived in Budapest, and after that he moved to Switzerland, where he had the status of a freelance artist and held painting classes.
