Pero Popović

(Prijedor, B&H, 1881 – Sarajevo, B&H, 1941)

In 1902/1903, he enrolled with the Faculty of Philosophy, the Department of Philosophy in Vienna, yet he never graduated from it. He continued his education at the private school for drawing and painting of H. Strehblow. He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague in 1909. After the studies, he returned home to paint and teach art. He worked as a professor in Banja Luka and in Sarajevo.
