Šejla Kamerić

(Sarajevo, B&H, 1976)

Studied at the Academy of Fine Arts, the Department for Graphic Design, in Sarajevo. From 1994 do 1997, worked with the design group “Trio” in Sarajevo. Between 1997 and 2000, worked as art director of the advertising agency “Fabrika”.

She won several awards and exhibited in the country and abroad. She has been working in the domain of video art, film, installation, and book design. She is a member of the European Cultural Parliament (2003). Her multi-media work and her short feature-film “What Do I Know” was awarded at the „Crossing Europe” International Film Festival in Linz 2007, and included in the program of the Venice Film Festival 2007.
