Andrej Jemec

(Vižmarje near Ljubljana, Slovenia, 1934)

Graduated in 1958 from the Academy of Fine Arts in Ljubljana. He had study trips to Paris and London in 1963. During his stay in Paris, he worked for a while in the studio of J. Friedlaender. Worked as a professor of drawing and painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Ljubljana, where he led a newly established Design the Department. From 1977 to 1981, he was the dean of this Academy.
