Ernst Germ

(Venice, Italy, 1858 – Sarajevo, B&H, 1930)

Studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna. He came to Sarajevo as a draftsman technician to the Construction department of the Government in 1885. Since 1895 until his retirement in 1924, he worked in the National Museum. He painted Bosnian landscapes in strictly academic style.
