“The National Gallery of Bosnia and Herzegovina lost three dear friends in a relatively short period of time, and the art scene lost three great artist. Jagoda Buić and Franjo Likar left recently, and now unexpectedly, too soon, Anto Kajinić also left.
Dear friend, collaborator, man who marked the art scene of Bosnia and Herzegovina. A painter with a rare modern sensibility, an art activist, initiator and long-time dean of the Academy of Fine Arts in Široki Brijeg, founder of the magazine Akademija and art theoretician, excellent art pedagogue.
He exhibited at numerous solo and collective exhibitions, was the founder and active member of the art group KAMMEN, head of the post-graduate study Ars Sacra at the Academy in Široki Brijeg, head of the PULS colony…
He built bridges between artists, Academies, friends…
He will be fondly remembered by all of us who had the privilege of knowing him and being friends with him.” Strajo Krsmanović, director of the National Gallery of Bosnia and Herzegovina
