Sculptures made of wire (produced by burning the tires) and wood fill up the space in groups, leaving a strong impression on visitors.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe young Mostar sculptor, through his work, shows perseverance and the need for constant creation. His <em>people<\/em> are just as humble and fragile as well as penetrating and powerful, and can often provoke the observer&#8217;s perception and evoke different approaches, thoughts, and emotions. They do not dictate nor determine the way they are supposed to be understood, instead they allow the freedom of interpretation. Who are these Oren\u010duk\u2019s people is an easy question? Are they specific personas whose name only he knows, or are they certain characters \/ types of people? Are they humans or fictitious beings? Is it the author or is it us? If we cannot answer this objectively, then it is better to do it subjectively, because the exhibited works, according to the artist&#8217;s statement, are the last in his research path that is guided by the guidelines of the Matter-Shape-Vertical.\u201d Danijela Ucovi\u0107, art historian<\/p>\n<p>The exhibition will be opened as a part of the cooperation with the Franciscan Museum and Gallery \u0160iroki Brijeg.<\/p>\n<p>Boris Oren\u010duk was born in 1989 in Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina.<\/p>\n<p>2014 &#8211; Master\u2019s degree at the Academy of Fine Arts in Sarajevo, Department of Sculpture, mentored by Mustafa Skopljak and Sadudin Musabegovi\u0107<\/p>\n<p>2012 \u2013 Graduated at the University D\u017eemal Bijedi\u0107 in Mostar, Fine Arts Department\/Sculpture, mentored by Mustafa Skopljak<\/p>\n<p>2008 \u2013 Graduated at the Art school Gabrijel Jurki\u0107, Department of Sculpture in Mostar<\/p>\n<p>He received Rector\u2019s Award for his achievements.<\/p>\n<p>He is a member of the Association of Croatian Artists in Federation BiH, Association of Visual Artists of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Association of Artists \u201cFormat\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>He received an award of the Foundation Slipi\u010devi\u0107 in the field of visual arts (Mostar, 2016).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Boris Oren\u010duk (Mostar, 1989) will present the series of sculptures through which he explored the possibilities of material in the construction of a predetermined shape &#8211; dominantly vertical human figure.
