EXHIBITION “COMA” NEBOJ\u0160A \u0160ERI\u0106 SHOBA<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n We cordially invite you to visit the exhibition “Coma” by Neboj\u0161a \u0160eri\u0107 Shoba that is open from June, 3.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n “In this case the artworks are not similar to those that I’ve been creating up until that point (and after); these works are about psychotherapy, confronting the horrors of war, fears, paranoia, a literal discharge onto paper of all the possible distortions, that were thrown out under the circumstances of 1994. The biggest part of that still stayed inside, and it’s still slowly eating me, tearing my flesh and i doubt that it will ever come out on the surface, right until I reach the point of leaving myself behind and I enter into a new space and time.”<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Neboj\u0161a \u0160eri\u0107 Shoba<\/p>\n (From the poetry book “Coma” by Hidajet \u0160erkan \u0160eri\u0107)<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Artworks from the series “Coma” are published as illustrations for a poetry book “Coma” by Hidajet \u0160erkan \u0160eri\u0107. The artist Shoba donated this series to the National Gallery of B&H and this is the first time the artworks are exhibited.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Biography<\/strong><\/p>\n Neboj\u0161a \u0160eri\u0107 Shoba<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Born in Sarajevo in 1968.<\/p>\n He studied at the School of Applied Arts from 1983-1987, then Sarajevo Academy of Fine Arts from 1989 – 1992.
