His landscapes are close to sculpting; they are not trying to present a specific place in nature, but its overall power and temperament.<\/p>\n<p>He was awarded the Sixth of April Award of the city of Sarajevo.<\/p>\n<p>He was a longtime member of the Association of Visual Artists of Bosnia and Herzegovina (ULUBiH). He worked as a professor and as the dean of the Academy of Fine Arts in Sarajevo. Since 1995 he was also the dean of the Academy of Fine Arts in Trebinje.
