He achieved remarkable success in many fields of artistic creativity. He started his artistic career as a sculptor, worked in design and set design. In recent years, he focuses his artistic energy on a series of paintings in the combined technique he calls &#8220;tressages&#8221; (French: tresse-braid).<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cIn his tressages Dominique deconstructs and reconstructs familiar objects into new creations that surprise and enchant the eye and the mind. Dominique&#8217;s tressages evoke a complexity of emotions, sensations and images.
