<\/p>\n
Studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Budapest (1910-1914). From 1923 to 1945, worked as the professor of drawing in the grammar schools in Sarajevo and Travnik. He was one of the founders of the group (\u201c\u010cetvorica\u201d) \u201cFour Painters\u201d as well as the group (\u201cKrug\u201d) \u201cCircle\u201d. He wrote theoretical works, dealt with conservation work n paintings and icons. He participated in the formation of the Art Gallery of the National Museum of B&H in Sarajevo in 1930 and managed it on voluntary basis until 1943. He published the \u00abLexicon of Artists of B&H\u00bb and \u00abThe Art of Painting in B&H in the Turkish Era\u00bb. He received several recognitions and awards for his fruitful creative work. Towards the end of his career, he worked at the Institute for the Protection of Cultural Monuments in Sarajevo. The retrospective exhibition of the works of \u0110oko Mazali\u0107 was held in 1970 at the National Gallery of B&H in Sarajevo.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
