Member of the \u201cSerbian Learned Society\u201d and the president of the \u201cSociety of Croatian Artists\u201d in Zagreb. He was the honorary member of the Serbian Academy of Arts and Sciences and corresponding member of the Czech Academy of Arts and Sciences as well as Zagreb-based Yugoslav Academy of Arts and Sciences.
