Continued his education in Vienna at the School of Arts\u00a0 and Crafts (August K\u00fchne, Otto K\u00f6nig) and then at the Academy of Fine Arts (1894-1895) under the mentorship of Carl Kundmann. He continued his training in Paris under August Rodin (1900\/01). He taught at the Crafts School (1895 &#8211; 1907) and the Academy of Fine Arts (1907 &#8211; 40) in Zagreb. He participated in the founding of the Society of Croatian Artists (1907), the <em>Lada<\/em> association (1904) and the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb (1907). Member of JAZU, SANU and the Academy of Sciences and Arts in Prague.
