In later years, his tendency to research led him to abstract expressionism. However, most of the collection of his works consists of Bosnian landscapes and streets, still life and portraits.<\/p>\n<p>He worked as a professor of painting at the State School of Fine Arts until 1957, when he was appointed director of the Secondary School of Applied Arts.
