From 1920 to 1924, he worked as a professor of drawing at the Teachers\u2019 College and the High School for Girls in Sombor. In 1926, joined the newly formed group \u201dOblik\u201d (\u201cForm\u201d). In 1927, moved to Belgrade, where he got the post of the full-time professor of drawing at the School of Fine Arts. His activities as the painter were interrupted by the World War II, since he was captured and deported to a camp in Germany. After the war, he continued to paint.
