In 1983 she had her first solo exhibition in the studio of the National art gallery of Bosnia and Herzegovina.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\">Emira Turnad\u017ei\u0107 is an artist with a strong sense for sculpture, so it is not surprising that her work includes two-dimensional as well as three-dimensional works. She often introduces applied materials such as paper, foil or glue to the painting or drawing to the two-dimensional works. The main motive of her works is represented through the figure, which she rediscovers through material, shape and volume. Being a source of research and deliberation of art, the figure is often only surmised.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\">She worked as an assistant at the Academy of Fine Arts.
