Chillida Eduardo

(San Sebastian, Spain, 1924 – San Sebastian, Spain, 2002)

Studied architecture at the University of Madrid. He acquired an artistic education in 1947 at a private art school in Madrid. He was awarded at the 1958 Venice Biennale, upon which he received numerous recognitions and honours. He participated at the Documenta in Kassel (1964, 1968, 1972 and 1977). He is one of the most significant sculptors of the 20th century.
