Mehmed Zaimović

(Tuzla, B&H, 1938)

In 1961, graduated from the Secondary School for Applied Arts in Sarajevo. He founded the Sarajevo Salon in 1968. In 1976, he joined the group “69” in Ljubljana. Since 1979, he has been a member of the Academie Italia del Arte Lavoro in Parma, Italy. He exhibited intensively in the country and abroad and was awarded with several awards and recognitions for his work. He is a corresponding member of Academy of Arts and Science’s of B&H. He designed many books, monographs and catalogues. Now lives and works in Sarajevo.
