The National Gallery of Bosnia and Herzegovina will be closed to visitors from 1 to 12 September 2026 as we prepare two new exhibitions.

In September, we will open an exhibition of selected works by Ferdinand Hodler from the Gallery’s collection, alongside The Persistence of Presence, an exhibition by Simon Berger, an artist whose work in glass and light engages in a dialogue with Hodler’s legacy.

The Documentation Department and Library will continue to operate during their regular opening hours.
